    Something I Forgot to Mention

In the middle of all of yesterday’s fun and games, I received a call from the nurse at the doctor’s office telling me to call back because one of the tests they ran indicated a problem that needed prompt treatment. What a message to leave for a girl who simply gave the vampires two tubes of blood and a partially filled cup. After much concern, a wee bit of panic, and a couple of phone calls, I finally touched base with the nurse. It turns out I have an infection. Who knew? I didn’t have any of the usual symptoms, and it certainly wasn’t bothering me (until someone said I had a problem). So, now I have the pleasure of drinking cranberry juice (which is as yucky today as it was the first time I tried it) and taking horse pills for three days. What fun.

Oh, and I think I might have startled some strangers in the airport last night. By the time I reached Houston the second time around I was exhausted. Being wiped out weakens the barrier between the skewed thoughts of my brain and my mouth. Out popped comments like, “the sky is pretty”, “Good Morning!”, and “standing is good.” Nothing to dangerous, but completly out of the blue.
