    Where Are You Going?

In the spirit of asking questions and the name of this blog, which translates to “Where Am I Going?” I pose the following questions to the readers who feel like answering them. Please partake; I’ll add my answers sometime tomorrow.

    Where Are You Going?
    1. How will you spend your vacation time this year?
    2. Do you want to grow up? Please explain.
    3. How long ago were you a student and do you plan on becoming one again?
    4. If God laughs at your plans, what will change in your life?
    5. Whom would you take on a road trip, what would your destination be and what would you see along the way?

    1. Hopefully, spending some time at one of those all-inclusive resorts in the Carribbean. The rest of the days will probably be spent taking the kids to the doctor or taking three-day weekends (then doing nothing with them).
    2. I'm thirty-three, with two kids, and I'm pretty sure I already missed the growing up bus. If I haven't matured by now, I doubt I ever will. As long as it doesn't keep my girls from being happy, it doesn't bother me at all.
    3. I was last in class six years ago. I plan to get at least one more degree, but it may be a while before I have the time or money.
    4. Sorry, I'm an agnostic, so I have no idea how to answer this question. :)
    5. My wife, we'd go to Niagara Falls, we'd stop at every cheesy roadside attraction until they started to repeat themselves. (For example, we'd only stop at the first "Dinosaur Forest" or "Mystery Hill")

    1) I don't get a vacation.

    2) I think I am (grown up).

    3) 23 minutes ago

    4) I don't know what this "God" is of which you speak.

    5) I've taken enough road trips to last a lifetime...seven or eight times across the US on the various interstates (80, 40, and 30-20-10). I think I saw everything. :) I've also done 95 from Rhode Island to ATL and everything in between, and 81 from wherever it starts to wherever it ends. If I were to take a roadtrip from where I am now, it would be north to Washington state, which I've never seen. So...I don't know what I'd see along the way since I've never been in that part of NoCal and Oregon and Washington. :)

    1. not really vacation since I don't ever get one, I always have the kids. But I will take them to the beach quite a bit this summer. Wonderful.

    2. I want to continue to grow as a person, as a scholar, as a teacher, an artist, a father, a son. So I guess yeah. Always.

    3. 15 years ago. And yes.

    4. I figure that is already the case. I have very diligent guardian angels however.

    5. Hmmm. All my kids, and we'll go the beach in about twelve days for their spring break.
