Blowing Outside
OK, I'll cop to another one of those things I hate - blowing air. No, not the stuff naturally occurring due to weather and/or being up in the fourth story breezeway. I hate mechanically blown air. It can be a fan in the window, or a fan attached to the ceiling, or even winters gas forced heat - all of it bothers me.
During all my summers in dorm housing - and it's mid-western non-air conditioned glory, I had and used a fan.
It was always pointed out - to the out doors or to the corridor it didn't matter. I lived in the circulation provided by the vacuum behind the blades. It may have felt hotter than all the other ways; but I loved it.
